The mountain is eleven levels deep
And the Tyrant is at the bottom
Cinderdelve is a pixel-art digging game about a crew of dwarves that grows from a handful of miners into a few hundred. Hire dwarves, buy upgrades with the gold every block gives, and watch the mountain come apart.
Upgrades that never end
Swing Damage, Swing Speed, Ability Power, Crit Chance, Gold Yield and more. Every track goes on forever, and there is no crew limit: hire for as long as the gold lasts.
A prize at every bottom
Nine levels hide a class's lost artifact, and each one starts every later level with an Ascended dwarf. The God Altar raises one dwarf into the Mountain God.
Every start is faster
Each level begins with a new crew and nothing bought, but the Renown of the Deep, the artifacts and the God come with you.
Then keep digging
Kill the Tyrant on his gold and the Endless Deep opens: depth after depth, each tougher than the last, with your whole Ascended crew.
Nine ways to break rock
Pick your crew
Every dwarf has a class, and every class digs differently. Each has six talents and an Ascension, and the crew's mix is up to you.
Ironhand
Heavy swings that leave a cracked crater.
Runesmith
Carves runes that speed up every dwarf standing on them.
Frostwright
Chills the rock face, then shatters it in a chain.
Magmaforged
Melts forward and down in drips of lava.
Stonecaller
Grows roots through the rock that crush it from inside.
Voidcutter
Slashes thin crescents straight through the stone.
Stormcaller
Forks lightning from block to block.
Hollowsinger
Rings the mountain like a bell, through whole seams of rock.
Powderbeard
Some swings explode and blast a ragged hole.
The Mountain God
One dwarf, raised at the altar, carrying every Ascension the crew has earned.

An achievement didn't unlock
Achievements are on Steam only. In Steam's offline mode they are kept and sent when Steam is back online. Clearing a deep Endless depth also unlocks every depth achievement below it.
Can I change the controls?
Yes. On Windows and macOS every key can be rebound in Settings. On phones and tablets, drag to look around, pinch to zoom, and hold still to plant or lift the rally flag.
Does the game flash?
Yes. Lightning, blasts and critical hits make bright bursts. A photosensitivity warning is shown on first launch. If you feel any discomfort while playing, stop at once.
Ads, purchases, accounts?
None. You buy the game once, and it plays offline.
